Shri. Sanjeeb Babu belongs to Ranipali village, Balangir. Being a graduate, he could have looked for job opportunities, but he was inclined to start a dairy farm. With financial support from his elder brother, he set up a farm. With one cow back in 2018, today his herd comprises of 10 cattle.
Getting associated with BAIF through the Odisha Govt. supported Programme helped him in efficient cattle management services. He regularly sought services for conventional AI. Getting to know of the benefits of sorted semen AI, he readily adopted it. With 6 milking cows daily milk production was close to 45 litres. Recently with SS AI, 5 female calves were born and he is quite elated with the development.
He also has fodder cultivation in 5 acres of land and he plans to expand the area of cultivation with more improved varieties.
